I love doing bridal shoots. Being able to take your time with a bride and not worry about being late for the ceremony, or any of the other pressures associated with the actual wedding day, is sheer bliss for a photographer.

Alyssa was a joy to work with – so beautiful, so patient and so willing to try whatever kooky creative ideas I threw at her. A huge thanks to Tracy Hines for providing amazing hair and make-up. She obviously had a great subject to work with and made her look so beautiful!

I am having a blast putting these together; the added dimension of music gives the images so much more emotional impact…I guess it appeals to the performer in me! Do you agree? March is finally here, and I am gearing up for wedding and portrait season. I can’t wait to get outside and start shooting! After taking trips to both Las Vegas and Florida over the past month and enjoying great (a.k.a. WARM) weather, I am SO ready to say good-bye to snow and say hello to green grass and sunshine.

Something else I can’t wait for is to start creating custom slideshows for my wedding and portrait clients! These slideshows can be shared on Facebook or MySpace, embedded into a website or blog, played on You Tube, or even emailed to friends and family! Higher resolution versions are available to show on home theatre systems and projection screens.

Here is just one video I’ve created using a family portrait session from last fall. The family LOVED it – what do YOU think? I’d love to hear your thoughts/comments!
